Medicue is a health technology company specialisingin patient communication and patient participation across diagnostics,treatment and follow-up care. We are committed to making our web-based platformand public-facing digital content accessible and usable for as many people aspossible, including those with disabilities or impairments.
1. Scope
Thisstatement covers the public Medicue website and the Medicue platform atclinician.medicue.com and patient.medicue.com. Separate customerimplementations or third-party systems may have their own accessibilityarrangements.
2. Compliance status
The MedicuePlatform is designed to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA andthe EN 301 549 European accessibility standard for ICTproducts and services. We also follow NHS digital service design principleswhere applicable to UK clinical users. We review our platform against thesestandards on an ongoing basis.

4. How we designed foraccessibility
Medicue hasbeen developed following user-centred design principles. Users includingoptometrists and patients were involved in testing during development. Theplatform was reviewed against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria, and feedback was used toensure the interface is clear, simple and easy to use.
5. Known limitations
Some PDFsor legacy documents may not yet be fully optimised for assistive technologies.We are working to remediate these on an ongoing basis.
Somethird-party embedded components may not provide the same accessibility supportas core platform content.

7. Enforcement

8. Ongoing governance
Medicuereviews accessibility periodically, especially when launching new pages,updating templates, or publishing important documents. Where an issue cannot befixed immediately, the reason and remediation timeline are documented.
