Medicue is now ORCHA Assured — independently certified by the global leader in digital health assurance.
ORCHA (the Organisation for the Review of Care and Health Apps) is the assessment body that health services across Europe — including the NHS — rely on when deciding which digital health technologies can be trusted. Only a minority of the digital health tools ORCHA reviews meet its quality threshold.
Being certified means Medicue has been examined by an independent third party and meets the standard across three domains — in both the UK and the EU:
Data Privacy — how patient data is protected, stored and processed.
Professional Assurance — the clinical safety and evidence behind the product.
Usability & Accessibility — that the platform works for real patients, of all ages and abilities.
The certification adds to a foundation we have been building deliberately: Medicue is CE marked as a medical device, EU-MDR compliant, GDPR compliant, and HIPAA compliant. For clinics, chains and health systems evaluating digital follow-up, this means the due diligence has already been done — by an independent expert body.
Because in healthcare, standards matter.
Whilst achieving Bronze on our first assessment, we are already closing in on Silver — and we will keep raising the bar.
